What To Know About Coenzyme Q10 And Wrinkles - September 30th, 2009

Coenzyme Q10 is the main and only ingredient I’ve seen listed in a product called LifeCell.  They have this huge 20 page site not separated by anything, and they talk all about celebrities using their product and how amazing it is.  Then they talk about coenzyme Q10 way down there, and I’ve honestly tried to find other ingredients.  So what’s so special.  What is there to know about coenzyme Q10 and wrinkles?

Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that also doubles as a heart health ingredient.  In other words, it actually is quite good for you.  It will help to keep you healthy and going in general, and because it’s an antioxidant, it kills off free radicals that hurt your skin and cause you other varying problems.

But what you should know before buying LifeCell is that coenzyme Q10 does not fight wrinkles.  Yes, it’s true, it does not actually reverse wrinkles or anything like that, and there are more powerful antioxidants out there to fight against free radicals.  So there’s no reason it should be any product’s signature ingredient or anything like that.

I’m not saying it’s completely worthless, just not as good as some of your other options and not as good as LifeCell would have you believe.  So another what to know about Coenzyme Q10 and wrinkles would be is it safe.  Nobody has ever died from coenzyme Q10, and as far as I’m personally aware, there have actually been no adverse reports of side effects in general.  With this in mind, if you are allergic to the source, you will obviously have a problem.  But at least coenzyme Q10 in general is safe.
