Dead Sea Skin Products - September 5th, 2009

I picked up a wrinkle cream and face wash when I last went to visit the Dead Sea.  It was a month ago now, and frankly I was excited when I got it, because I’ve always heard all of the benefits of the Dead Sea.  I couldn’t go in while I was there, because I had a cut that was still healing up, and with all that salt among other things, you could imagine the burning among other things that it might cause.  That being said, I did buy some bottles just for fun, and I took them home somehow.

Not sure how they got on the plane.  But anyway, I ended up using them slowly, and they are still lasting at this time.  But unfortunately, I would say don’t fall for these Dead Sea sales promotions, especially the ones right by the Dead Sea.  You would think it would be easy for them to get the water from there to be genuine.  But from what I’ve seen from the benefits or rather lack thereof, I suspect the water either isn’t that special in the Dead Sea, or they just substituted other water in due to some kind of weird restrictions that I don’t know about.  Either way, it doesn’t work, and I would highly recommend against falling for these.  After all, anything that seems to be connected to the Dead Sea also seems to be extremely expensive to say the least.
