Acai Skin Products - September 5th, 2009

I have recently seen plenty of treatments all claiming that you can get rid of wrinkles using the power of the acai berry.  It’s laughable really.  They also make claims about weight loss, cleansing, acne, and realistically speaking just about anything else you could possibly imagine.  Yes, acai is technically a superfruit.  It technically has vitamins and antioxidants that can benefit your skin in certain ways, even staving off some aging and otherwise if used in the right amounts.

However, when they base a cream or serum around it, they claim that it will turn back the hands of time, actually reverse wrinkles, and otherwise things that you would actually have to have more collagen and elastin to achieve.  Either way, this doesn’t exactly work the way you think it should, and it definitely doesn’t help you to get greater results of any kind.  They generally use extremely small amounts of acai and never reveal a full ingredients list, meaning it will actually do more generalized damage to the skin than good.

That is never a good thing believe it or not.  It will only cause more hurt and frustration.  Either way, it would be far better for you to find something else based on ingredients that are actually meant to reduce wrinkles.
